Members of the Ryarsh Protection Group (RPG) visited Tom Tugendhat’s drop-in surgery at ASDA Kings Hill on the 23rd February 2018. The RPG thanked Tom for his letter to Kent County Council & raised additional concerns that residents have with the proposed ‘West Malling Sandpit’.

Tom Tugendhat later posted this photo and message on his Facebook page:

Great to host a drop in surgery today in ASDA at Kings Hill. I spoke to people about a range of issues, including West Malling Doctors Surgery, recycling and the possible development of forty acre field in East Malling.
As you can see, I was also presented with a letter from members of the Ryarsh Protection Group who are understandably concerned at the proposal for significant quarrying at a site off Roughetts Road. I’m grateful that they took the time to come and see me and speak about some of the crucial matters in this case. If you’re concerned too, please make sure you have your say by e-mailing mwlp@kent.gov.uk.
